Better Choices, Better Future

The Good Shepherd Cathedral School participated in the annual Guidance Fair that was held on September 3 to 5 of 2014 inside the Philippine Trade Training Center.
In this 25th Career and Counseling Fair, 33 universities or colleges proudly promoted the education and course offers in the event. These universities and colleges are: Adamson University, Treston International College, MAPUA Institute of Technology, MFI Technological Institute, Our Lady Of Fatima University, PATTS College of Aeronautics, Canadian International Schools & Colleges,  FEU Institute of Technology, Australian Catholic University, The Manila Times College of Subic, University of Santo Tomas, Asia Pacific College, Global Academy, LD Consolacion College Manila, Ducasse Institute, Trinity University of Asia, Centro Escolar University, Assumption College, San Beda College, Saint Augustine, Delta Air International Aviation Academy, ACLC College, AMA University, Technological Institute of the Philippines, Saint Paul University, Enderun College, Angelicum College, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Philippine Christian University, Ateneo De Manila University, Manila Culinary and Hospitality Academy, Malayan Colleges, and lastly, iAcademy.
The students of GSCS arrived at the PTTC by 8AM where the fair was held. For the first 3 and half hours, the students roamed freely to check out each stall of every university or college. Informative staff members were in every stall, where they explained the education, courses, programs, and facilities that their university or college could offer.
By 12 noon, GSCS students had lunch inside Blue Wave (near PTTC). An hour later, they returned to PTTC to continue looking around or attend course seminars held in the event. By three in the afternoon, it was time to go back to Good Shepherd Cathedral School; the departure back took around an hour.
The Guidance Fair ended successfully, and at this time, hopefully the students have a better vision of what they want their future to become.
