Timpalak ng Pagsulat ng Sanaysay

 To commemorate the Buwan ng Wika, the Good Shepherd Cathedral held an essay writing contest on the 1st week of September.

   The participants in the essay writing contest are high school students from  Grade 7-4th year. The particpants from Grade 7 Level are Lynnea Dela Cruz, Danna Lucanas, Princess Cortez, and JM Dumandan. From Grade 8:  Junelisha Mendoza and Fiona Reyes From  Grade 9: Alleia David, Anthony Raquid, Rafaela Bea Dimabuyu and Rachelin Flores.  From the 4th year level the participants are Alyssa Arnaldo, Marie Gabrielle Bernabe, Terry Decatoria, and Loise Jagocoy.

   With its theme Filipino: Wika ng Pagkakaisa, the participants had to write an essay about the usage of Filipino and English Language with relation to nationalism.  

Kyla Lynnea Dela Cruz with her work “Wikang Filipino, Wika Nating Lahat” won the Grade 7 and 8 Division. In the Grade 9 and 4th year Division, Alyssa Arnaldo with her work “Katauhan ng Wika” accomplished 2nd place while and Marie Gabrielle Bernabe with her work “Mamamayan, ang hiling ng Inang Bayan” accomplished 1st place.
