Behind the Scenes with Ms. President

By Lois Marcelle D. Rosario

From being the president of the Students’ Coordinating Board and the vice president of the Young Lectors Club to being the creams of the crop, to representing her own class every time, Tricia admits that she has learned many things in life during the thirteen years she studied here in GSCS.

We all know Tricia Pasagui as our ever-humble and loyal SCB president from the OMG party, but some of us just want to know more about this inspired woman who dreams to serve our school and its students.
She’s not only a beautiful and lovely girl but she’s also popular because of her talents, her diligence in studying and serving the school, for excelling in everything and last but not the least, for being a capable, sensible and effective leader.

She is what she is because her inspiration to everything is God. “As cliché as it may sound, in Him I can feel the essence of the labor of love.” Everything she does is for the greater glory of God.

Born with the passion for arts, with pride and dignity, she aspires to become an architect. With her love for fashion, she created the blog “Oh My Fashion”, in hopes of expressing her creative styles. With her talent in music, she competed with her band in the battle of the bands before. And during the Mr. and Ms. Nutrition 2012, she played the piano whilst singing a duet with Aisne Gordola.

In the future, Tricia desires to see our beloved GSCS to be one of the famous schools here in the Philippines. She desires GSCS to be known not only by the people who live in Fairview but for it to be known by every Filipino. She dreams of seeing GSCS to be one of the top schools in the country.

For the students who want to be successful someday, she advises that we should never let fear empower us. We should never let fear become a hindrance for us to be better.

Tricia is one in a million. She serves as a role model and inspiration for every student who wants to serve our school someday. Our school is blessed to have a young talented woman like her. The greatest thing about her is that she isn’t afraid of trying new things. I have never known anyone else who is active in both school and serving our Lord like her. Usually, it’s just words and empty promises, but she makes a big difference by putting her words into actions.
