GSCS’s Visit to the 25th Career Counseling Guidance Fair

The students of Good Shepherd
Cathedral School (GSCS) in Grade 8, 3rd year and 4th year attended the 25th
Career Counseling and Guidance Far at the Philippine International Convention
Center (PICC) last August 5 and 6, 2013.
There were many colleges and
universities present in the fair, both local and foreign who put up booths to
exhibit their respective schools. These include: Adamson University, AMA
University, Angelicum College, Assumption College, Television - Cebu, Lyceum of the the
Philippines University, Makati Medical Center College, Manila Times College,
Mapua Institute of Technology, MINT College, Miriam College, Our Lady of Fatima
University, PATTS College of Aeronautics, Philippine Christian University,
Philippine Women’s University, Profiles, Raffles Design Institute, Ricky Reyes
Learning Institute, St. Paul University (Manila and Quezon City), San Beda
College (Manila and Alabang), SOFA, Southville Foreign University, Southville
International School and Colleges, St. Scholastica’s College, Technological
Institute of the Philippines, Treston College, Trinity University of Asia,
University of Perpetual Help System, University of Sto. Tomas, University of
the Philippines, Genting-Star Tourism Academy, MFI and PACE Academy.
The exhibitors gave flyers,
brochures and free items to the high school students and high school teachers
present in the fair. There were photo booths and raffles as well as
performances by a few colleges.
The 25th Career Counseling and
Guidance Fair aims to help high school students choose what course they will
choose when they enter college especially for the 4th year high school
students. This event also gave the colleges and universities to promote
themselves to encourage students to enroll to their school.
