GSCS Almost Reaches 20

By Marie Gabrielle Bernabe

As a yearly tradition for the Good Shepherd Cathedral School (GSCS), it held its foundation day celebration this year from September 6-12. As a Foundation day starter for the kids, the Students Coordinating Board (SCB) had two inflatables where students were allowed inside during their break/dismissal time from September 8 to 12.
On the day of September 6, the Parents Coordinating Board (PCB) launched their Zumba exercises where the parents, guardians, faculty and even some of the students participated in this physical warm-up at the GSCS gym. This was later followed by the opening of the high school class booths while the lower levels had their Family Day games during their allotted schedules.
This year’s booths were hosted by the high school classes and students had their turn to spend their family day with friends and relatives at the gym.
The evening of September 6 was a memorable night for the former students as GSCS held its first Alumni Homecoming night in collaboration with the Alumni Association and Alumni Coordinator, Mr. Merwin Reyes. A night of music and memories were made in the minds of the Alumni.
To cap the week-long celebration, on September 7, the school had a Thanksgiving Mass at the Good Shepherd Cathedral, to offer to God the blessings and for the upcoming 20th anniversary of the school.
